Heatseeker DualSun is a multi-energy hybrid solar panel, designed and made in France.
The DualSun technology delivers a double production of energy, electricity and heated water, with one unique solar panel, without changing the size or design of a standard photovoltaic panel.
DualSun is a major innovation that responds to an array of buildings’ energy needs all while minimising rooftop surface.
The DualSun panel redefines energy autonomy by concentrating production capacities in one unique innovative panel.
A standard photovoltaic panel generates 80% heat and only 20% electricity.
This heat is not only wasted but is adverse to the panel’s photovoltaic efficiency which decreases as temperature increases.
Thanks to its innovative heat exchanger and the water circulating behind the photovoltaic cells, the DualSun panel is constantly cooled which allows it to generate more electricity than a standard photovoltaic panel.
– This is the DualBoost effect.
The back of the DualSun panel is composed of a polypropylene heat exchanger with 3 international patents. The water that circulates through the exchanger is warmed by the heat dissipated from the photovoltaic cells and can reach temperatures up to 70°C.
The heated water can then be used for different heating needs of the building, ideal for heating swimming pools or supplementing building services hot water.
– This is the DualHeat effect.
The union of two solar technologies
With optimised production of photovoltaic electricity on the frontside
With the generation of solar heated water on the back by recycling the wasted heat of the photovoltaic cells
Your electricity needs might be higher than your heated water needs. To produce the correct electrical and thermal outputs based on individual requirements, a standard photovoltaic panel, without a heat exchanger, can be used in combination with DualSun panels.
CLEAN ENERGY COUNCIL (CEC) APPROVED PV MODULE PV60129019 CERTIFIED IEC 61215 & 61730 AND SOLAR KEYMARK
DualSun panels are AS/NZS 5033-compliant for use in the design and installaon of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, as per CEC requirements, and are eligible for small scale technology cerficates (STCs). Heatseeker DualSun panels must be installed by CEC-accredited installers.
The Climate Care Certification Program is an initiative of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Australia Ltd (SPASA). It is the industry’s efficiency and sustainability certification program.
Heatseeker DualSun systems are Climate Care Certified.
